Before going green this Christmas, consider these helpful tips from North Carolina Christmas tree growers to keep your tree fresh throughout the season:
Keep the Water Clean. A tree may drink up to a gallon of water within the first 24 hours, and up to a quart a day after. Be sure to keep the water clean and fresh. No added preservatives or chemicals are needed.
