Recipe of the Month: Northwest Deviled Eggs With Apples and Sausage
Take this classic appetizer up a notch with these deviled eggs with apples and sausage.
8 hard-cooked eggs, peeled and halved
3 Tablespoons “Ranch with Bacon” salad dressing
1/4 cup finely chopped apple
1/2 cup chopped, cooked smoked cheese sausages
thin apple strips, for garnish
Place cooked egg yolks in a small bowl; set egg white halves aside. Mash yolks with a fork.
Stir in salad dressing. Add apple and sausage and mix well.
Spoon mixture evenly into egg white halves. Garnish with thin apple strips and parsley leaves.
(Always cover and refrigerate leftover deviled egg halves.)
