Ashton Brown, pictured at right, son of ROWAN COUNTY Farm Bureau members Dodd and Kelly Brown, had his artwork selected to appear in the new NC Farm to School calendar. Ashton attends Rockwell Elementary School and his entry was one of 13 chosen from 3,854 entries from across the state. Ashton is pictured with North Carolina Department of Agriculture & Consumer Services Chief Deputy Commissioner David Smith.
