NC Master Gardener Program

After county Extension agents found themselves overwhelmed with requests for home gardening and horticultural information, the Master Gardener program was born. Wake County began giving volunteers free training with the expectation they share their knowledge. More than 4,000 Extension Master Gardener volunteers are active within the state today.
