As part of Made in America Week, North Carolina’s own Cheerwine soda was honored at the White House in Washington, D.C.
The cherry-flavored soda celebrated its 100th anniversary in summer 2017 and was chosen to represent North Carolina as one of 50 products from each state.
The family that owns and operates the Salisbury-based business is proud of its Southern roots and to be part of the event, which encouraged U.S. manufacturing that will further stimulate state and national economies.
