6th Annual Somethin’ Pumpkin Family Fun Festival

Oct. 3, 2020, Dallas

Test your pumpkin cooking and decorating skills at the Somethin’ Pumpkin Family Fun Festival in Dallas. Sponsored by North Carolina Cooperative Extension and Gaston County Farm Bureau, the free festival encourages families to connect with local agriculture through activities centered on growing and cooking with pumpkins. Both youth and adults can enter their pumpkin creations for the chance to win cash prizes in a range of categories, including main courses, desserts and dishes made with homegrown pumpkins. Additional activities include a Pumpkin Chunkin’ catapult, pumpkin decorating, cooking demos, live music and more.
